Information: On my fifth birthday I received the movie Totoro and I have been in love with Ghibli work ever since! I've been to the Ghibli Museum and own every flim, plus I own a crapload of stuffed animals and other toys xD; My favourite Ghibli film is Princess Mononoke and my favourite Ghibli character is the Catbus from Totoro!

-I am so sorry for the club being dead for so long! T___T I take full responsiblity for this and I hope that from now on I will be able to be more responsible. But anyway! Let's have a fresh start, shall we? And for the fresh start first I must say that we received 41 new members over my absensce! I can't believe how many members we have now :3 It's great to know that there are so many Ghibli fans here on dA! >w< Also, we have a new contest! The new theme is "Spring"! Please click on the contest journal link for more information~! I hope that you all consider participating so we can make an awesome club atmosphere here I can't wait to see your entries! I must go upload all the wonderful new artwork now! I'm very excited to be running the club again! I'm also anxiously awaiting for Suncoats Videos to call me and tell me when my reserved copy of Howl's Moving Castle is in o3o ! Hope you all have a great, well, time doing whatever it is that you do!

1.) You must like Ghibli and/or any of its works. You should have at least seen one of their movies and liked it, put it that way.
2.) Send a NOTE to the club to join! Please don't send a note to the administrators or comment on the journal/club page. It's much to difficult to sort throught joining requests if you comment on the page! Comments on the main page or journals will be IGNORED.
3.) Don't join to flame, what is the point of joining?
4.) Put the in your journal or a ~ghibli-club in your signature. Do you not know how to do this? Then here's a lesson! :3
Type : iconghibli-club : without the spaces for a tag or type : devghibli-club : without the spaces for a ~ghibli-club tag.
5.) Please watch the club so you can receive important updates!
6.) Try to participate in contests, whether it's voting or actually submitting. Please don't let the club die due to lack of activity!

I would love for you to send the club some of your fanwork for us to showcase in our gallery! Nothing says love to Ghibli then some fanart or fanfiction! ^_^ Here's how you can help out in the cause!
1.) First you should upload your fanart or fanfiction into your own dA gallery. You don't want to deprive your friends and watchers of your wonderful Ghibli related work, now do you? :3
2.) Then copy the link to your piece and paste it into a note that you will send to the club! NOTES ONLY PLEASE! Make sure that you tell me that this piece is for me to display in the gallery and also title your note as "fanart" or "fanfiction" :3 See, isn't that easy?
3.) Also, anything is allowed! Fanart and fanfiction are both acceptable. Also, shounen-ai/shoujo-ai and yaoi/yuri are perfectly fine as long as you put a warning or allow me to put the warning for you :3
